Apply for Ministry of Steel Development Boot Camp Training 2024

Ministry of Steel Development is inviting applications from interested and qualified existing and aspiring artisans to apply for a One Month intensive Boot Camp training Program.

This Training program is aim to empower Nigerian Youths with advance and relevant technical skills in the following areas:

1. Welding & Fabrication

2. Industrial Foundry & Metallurgy

3. Instrumentation Control & Mechanical Maintenance

 

The Benefits of the program includes:

  • Expert training and mentorship
  • Equipment support for business growth.
  • Job creation and sustainable livelihoods.

 

ELIGIBILITY 

1. Welding and Fabrication:
  • Candidate Must be a Nigerian and provide valid means of identification. e.g NIN
  • Must be between the age of 18 to 40 years.
  • Applicants May/may not have basic knowledge of welding.
  • Must possess at least a secondary school O Level certificate.
  • Must be able to understand and communicate in English Language.
  • Candidates Must submit a statement of purpose giving reasons why he/she should be selected for the programme
2. Industrial Foundry and Metallurgy:
  • Applicant Must be a Nigerian and have a valid means identification. e.g National Identity Number.
  • Candidates age Must be between the 18 and 40 years old.
  • May/may not have basic knowledge of foundry techniques.
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English Language.
  • Applicants Must submit a statement of purpose giving reasons why he/she should be selected for the programme
3. Instrumentation & control System and Mechanical Maintenance
  • Aspiring applicant Should be a graduate of Electrical and Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Applicant Must be a Nigerian and have a valid means identification. e.g National Identity Number.
  • Candidates age Must be between the 18 and 40 years old.
  • Must be able to understand and communicate in English Language.
  • Must submit a statement of purpose giving reasons why he/she should be selected for the programme

 

DURATION: The duration of the Boot-Camp will cover one Month.
