Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants to apply for Nigerian Navy Basic Training School Batch 37 (NNBTS 37), 2024. Interested and qualified applicants are to apply FREE OF CHARGE online via Nigerian Navy Recruitment Portal at www.joinnigeriannavy.com.

Online Registration commences
on 15th November, 2024 and closes on 20th December, 2024.Only a single valid application is permitted. multiple online applications shall be disqualified.

ELIGIBILITY

• Applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth and possess National ldentification Number (NIN).
• Applicants must not be less than I.69m height for males and I.65m height for females.
• Applicants must be medically,
  psychologically and physically fit.
• Applicants must be free of any previous conviction(s) on criminal grounds by a court of law.

GUIDELINE FOR APPLICANTS

• Applicants with O’Level SSCE results must be between the ages of I8 and 22 years as at 31st December, 2024.

• They must possess a minimum of 5 credits, including Mathematics and English in not more than 2 sittings in WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB not older than 2018.

• Applicants with OND/NCE must be between the ages of 18 and 26 years while those for Chaplain/Imam
  Assistant and Drivers/Mechanic must be between 18 and 28 years of age as at 31st December, 2024.

• They must possess a minimum of 5 credits including Mathematics and English in not more than two (2) sittings in WAEC/NECO/GCE and NABTEB not older than 2014.

Tradesmen applying for the following categories must possess Trade Test certificates as well as a credit in English Language with minimum of 4 passes in other subjects in WAEC/NECO/GCE and NABTEB not older than 2014:

1. Tailoring

2. Carpentry

3. Plumbing

4. Masonry

5. Welding

6. Electrician

7. Painting

8. Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology.

• Applicants applying for professions allied to medicine must possess ND from recognized training institutions in Nigeria and a valid practicing license.

• Applicants applying as Sportsmen/women are to present evidence of their experience, which shall include certificates and medals.

• All applicants must be proficient in the use of English Language. Inability to communicate in basic English Language shall lead to disqualification at any stage of the Recruitment process.

Applicants are to print out the under

• Acknowledgement Form.
• Parent/Guardian Consent Form.
• Local Government Attestation
  Form (To be signed by a military officer of the rank of Commander in the Nigerian Navy equivalent in the AFN or Local Government Chairman).
• Guarantor’s Certification.

• Recruitment Aptitude Test will
  hold on 18th January, 2025 at designated centres nationwide.

• The Attestation Form must be
  accompanied by the passport photograph and photocopy of the signee’s Driver License, International Passport or National ID Card. The signee is also to authenticate the passport photograph of the applicant.

• Successful applicants will undergo basic military training and on completion will be enlisted into the Service of the Nigerian Navy as Ordinary Seamen.
