Apply for Kano State Domestic Postgraduate Scholarship 2024/2025
Kano State Scholarships Board is inviting applications from suitably qualified Graduates to apply for the 2nd Batch of Kano State Domestic Postgraduate Scholarship Program for the 2024/2025 Academic Session.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants for the Postgraduate scholarship must fulfill the following criteria:
1. Be an indigene of Kano State.
2. Earned a First-Class Honours Degree or equivalent from a reputable
University/Institution.
3. Not more than 30 years (for 4-5 years degree) or 35 years of age (for >5 years
degree).
4. Be medically fit.
5. Be ready for a physical screening interview.
6. Has completed NYSC or obtained an exemption or exclusion certificate;
7. Not currently enjoying another scholarship or in-service full sponsorship.
8. Submit about 500 words of personal statement.
9. Agree to abide by all conditions of the award if successful.
Note: Candidates wishing to pursue those academic programmes identified as gaps in the state service and PWDs that fulfil the criteria will be given special consideration.

A hardcopy of the completed application form, together with copies of the following credentials should be submitted to the Secretariat of the Screening Committee, Conference Hall, Kano State Scholarships Board, No. 23, Abdullahi Bayero Way, Kano, within two weeks of this advertisement:
1. Birth certificate.
2. Indigene certificate.
3. Primary school certificate.
4. WASC/GCE/SSCE/NABTEB/NBAIS Certificate.
5. Degree certificate.
6. Academic transcript.
7. Medical fitness certificate, etc.
