The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) wishes to announce vacancies in the following cadres in the Federal Civil Service.

The recruitment is open to NCE, HND, Degree, M.Sc and P.hd Certificate Holders.

1. Senior Administrative Officer – SGL 10

• Candidates must possess Ph.D in any Social Sciences or Humanities
  or MSc plus a minimum of four (4) years post NYSC cognate
  experience.

2. Administrative Officer I – SGL 09

• Candidate must possess a Master’s degree in Social Sciences or
  Humanities and completed the National Youth Service or obtained
  certificate of exemption.

3. Senior Planning Officer – SGL 10

• Candidates must possess Ph.D in Economics, Econometrics, Statistics
  and Development Planning or MSc plus a minimum of four (4)years
  post NYSC cognate experience.

4. Planning Officer I – SGL 09

• Candidates must possess MSc in Economics, Econometrics, Statistics,
  and Development Planning and completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

5. Planning Officer II – SGL 08

• Candidates must possess a degree in Economics or Statistics and
  must have completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

6. Senior Statistician – SGL 10

Candidates must possess Ph.D in Statistics, Demography or
Mathematics with Statistics; or MSc plus a minimum of four (4) years
post NYSC cognate experience.

7. Statistician I – SGL 09

• Candidates must possess MSc in Statistics, Demography or Mathematics with Statistics and completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

8. Statistician II – SGL 08

• Candidates must possess a degree in Statistics or Mathematics with
  Statistics and must have completed the National Youth Service or
  obtained certificate of exemption.

9. Higher Statistical Officer – SGL 08

• Candidates must possess HND in Statistics and must have completed
  the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

10. Programme Analyst I – SGL 09

• Candidates must possess MSc in Computer Science or Information
  Technology from a recognized institution and completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

11. Programme Analyst II – SGL 08

• Candidate must possess a degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from a recognized institution and completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

12. Procurement Officer I – SGL 09

• Candidate must possess MSc in either Marketing, Economics,
  Purchasing and Supply, Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering
  or Business Administration/Management from a recognized institution
  and completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of
  exemption.

13. Procurement Officer II – SGL 08

• Candidate must possess a degree in either Marketing, Economics,
  Purchasing and Supply, Quantity Surveying, Law or Business
  Administration/Management from a recognized institution and
  completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of
  exemption.

14. Foreign Affairs Officer I – GL 09

• Candidate must possess MSc in relevant subject from a recognized
  University and completed the National Youth Service or obtained
  certificate of exemption.

15. Foreign Affairs Officer II – GL 08

• Candidate must possess a degree in relevant subject from a recognized University and must have completed the National Youth
  Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

16. Electrical/Civil/Mechanical Engineer – GL 09

• Candidates must possess a degree in either Electrical Engineering,
  Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Civil Engineering or Mechanical and completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of
  exemption.

17. Higher Technical Officer (Electrical/Civil/Mechanical) – GL 08

• Candidates must possess HND in either Electrical/Civil/Mechanical
  Engineering and completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

18. Senior Geologist – GL 10

• Candidates must possess MSc in Geology or Geological Sciences and
  completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of
  exemption.

19. Geologist – GL 09

• Candidates must possess a degree in Geology or Geological Sciences
  and completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of
  exemption.

20. Senior Mining/Material/Metallurgical Engineer – GL 10

• Candidates must possess M.Eng in Mining/Material/Metallurgical
  Engineering and completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

21. Mining/Material/Metallurgical Engineer – GL 09

• Candidates must possess a degree in Mining/Material/Metallurgical
  Engineering and completed the National Youth Service or obtained
  certificate of exemption.

22. Higher Technical Officer (Mining/Material/Metallurgical) – GL
08

• Candidates must possess HND in either Mining/Material/Metallurgical
  Engineering and completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

23. Senior Computer Engineer – GL 10

• Candidates must possess M.Eng in Computer or Software Engineering
  and completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of
  exemption.

24. Computer Engineer – GL 09

• Candidates must possess a degree in Computer or Software Engineering and completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

25. Senior Aerodrome Engineer – GL 10

• Candidates must possess M.Eng in Mechanical, Aerodrome,
  Electrical/Electronic and Mechatronic Engineering and completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

26. Aerodrome Engineer – GL 09

• Candidates must possess a degree in Mechanical, Aerodrome,
  Electrical/Electronic and Mechatronic Engineering and must have completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

27. Surveyor I – GL 09

• Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Land Surveying and
  Geoinformatics and completed the National Youth Service or obtained
  certificate of exemption.

28. Surveyor II – GL 08

• Candidates must possess a degree in Land Surveying and Geoinformatics and must have completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

29. Higher Technical Officer (Survey) – GL 08

• Candidates must possess HND in Land Surveying and Geoinformatics and must have completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

30. Lands Officer I – GL 09

• Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Estate Management
  and completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of
  exemption.

31. Lands Officer II – GL 08

• Candidates must possess a degree in Estate Management and must have completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of
  exemption.

32. Medical Officer – SGL 12

• Candidates must possess MBBS or MBBCh degree in medicine and
  obtained registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) and completed the National Youth Service or obtained
  certificate of exemption.

33. Dentist/Dental Officer – SGL 12

• Candidates must possess a degree in Dental Surgery and obtained
  registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN)
  and completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of
  exemption.

34. Pharmacist – SGL 10

• Candidates must possess a degree in Pharmacy and obtained
  registration with the Pharmacist Council of Nigeria (PCN) and
  completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of
  exemption.

35. Optometrist – SGL 10

• Candidates must possess a Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree and
  obtained registration with the Optometrist and Dispensing Opticians Board of Nigeria (ODOBN) and completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

36. Physiotherapist – SGL 10

• Candidates must possess a degree in Physiotherapy and obtained
  registration with the Medical Rehabilitation Therapist Registration Board of Nigeria and completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

37. Medical Laboratory Scientist – SGL 10

• Candidates must possess a degree in Medical Laboratory Science and
  obtained registration with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) and completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption plus at least one year post registration cognate experience.

38. Radiographer – SGL 10

• Candidates must possess a degree in Radiography and obtained
  registration with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria
  (RRBN) and completed the National Youth Service or obtained
  certificate of exemption.

39. Nursing Officer – SGL 10

• Candidates must possess B.Sc Nursing or BNSc Nursing and obtained registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) and completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

40. Dietician I – SGL 09

• Candidate must possess a degree in Dietetics and must have passed
  the National Test of professional competence, registered to practise
  and completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of
  exemption.

41. Nutrition Officer II – SGL 08

• Candidates must possess a degree in Nutrition, Nutrition and Foods,
  Dietetics, Nutrition and Dietetics and must have completed the
  National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

42. Dental Therapist – SGL 08

• Candidates must possess Higher National Diploma (HND) in Dental
  Hygiene from an approved Health institution and completed the
  National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

43. Health Education Officer – SGL 08

• Candidates must possess a degree in Health Education, Physiology or
  Health Science and must have completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

44. Population Programme Officer I – SGL 09

• Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in any of Population
  Dynamics, Demography, Health Planning, Epistemology, Sociology,
  Health Education Economics and completed the National Youth
  Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

45. Population Programme Officer II – SGL 08

• Candidates must possess a degree in any of the Social Sciences, or
  Health Science Disciplines and completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

46. Biomedical Engineer – SGL 09

• Candidates must possess a degree in Biomedical Engineering and
  must have completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

47. Psychologist II – SGL 08

• Candidates must possess a degree in Psychology and must have
  completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of
  exemption.

48. Education Officers I – SGL 09

• Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Education or M.Sc in
  relevant subject plus PGDE or NCE from a recognized institution and
  must have completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

49. Education Officers II – SGL 08

• Candidates must possess a degree in Education or a B.Sc/B.Tech plus
  PGDE or NCE from a recognized institution and must have completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

50. Senior Instructor – SGL 09

• Candidates must possess HND in relevant subject plus PGDE or NCE
  from a recognized institution with at least 4 years post NYSC cognate
  experience.

51. Higher Instructor – SGL 08

• Candidates must possess HND in relevant subject plus PGDE or NCE
  from a recognized institution and must have completed the National
  Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

52. Assistant Education Officers – SGL 07

• Candidates must possess NCE from a recognized institution.

53. Auditor I – SGL 09

• Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Accounting, Auditing
  or Financial Accounting and completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

54. Auditor II – SGL 08

• Candidates must possess a degree in Accounting and must have completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

55. Archivist II – SGL 08

• Candidate must possess a degree in either History, Economics,
  Business Administration, or Geography from a recognized institution and completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

56. Printing Officer II – SGL 08

• Candidate must possess a degree in Printing Technology, Graphic
  Arts and Engineering and must have completed the National Youth
  Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

57. Cultural Officer II – SGL 08

• Candidate must possess a degree in either Fine Arts, Music, Theatrical Arts, English Literature or Linguistics and must have
  completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of
  exemption.

58. Tourism Officer II – SGL 08

• Candidate must possess a degree in Arts, Tourism or Social Sciences
  and must have completed the National Youth Service or obtained
  certificate of exemption.

• Candidate must possess PhD in any of Economics, Sociology, Physical
  and Health Education or four (4) years post MSc.

60. Youth Development Officer I – SGL 09

• Candidate must possess MSc in any of Economics, Sociology, Physical
  and Health Education and must have completed the National Youth
  Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

61. Youth Development Officer II – SGL 08

• Candidate must possess a degree in any of Economics, Sociology, Physical and Health Education and must have completed the National
  Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

62. Veterinary Officer – SGL 12

• Candidates must possess DVM degree in veterinary medicine and
  obtained registration with the Veterinary Council of Nigeria (VCN) and must have completed the National Youth Service or obtained
  certificate of exemption.

63. Fisheries Officer – SGL 08

• Candidates must possess a degree in Zoology, Fisheries, or Biology
  and must have completed the National Youth Service or obtained
  certificate of exemption.

64. Animal Health & Technologist – SGL 08

• Candidates must possess a degree in Animal Science or Livestock
  Development and must have completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

65. Senior Sports Officer – SGL 10

• Candidate must possess a PhD in Physical and Health Education or
  Sports Administration and Management or 4 years post MSc.

66. Sports Officer I – SGL 09

• Candidate must possess MSc in Physical and Health Education or
  Sports Administration and Management and must have completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

67. Sports Officer II – SGL 08

• Candidate must possess a degree in Physical and Health Education or
  Sports Administration and Management and must have completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

68. State Counsel – SGL 09

• Candidates must possess a degree in Law (LL.B), legally qualified to
  practice as a Barrister and Solicitor in Nigeria and must have
  completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of
  exemption.

69. Senior State Counsel – SGL 10

• Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Law (LL.M) or four (4)
  years post call, legally qualified to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor
  in Nigeria and must have completed the National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.

70. Principal State Counsel – SGL 12

• Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Law (LL.M) with at
  least seven (7) years post call, legally qualified to practice as a
  Barrister and Solicitor in Nigeria and must have completed the
  National Youth Service or obtained certificate of exemption.
